The community we build when Mahlerites come together is one of the things that makes MahlerFest so special. Many of our long-time audience members mention this when talking about why they come back to MahlerFest year after year. We have put together a robust schedule of events to help make this possible.

Social Events
Pre-Season Sneak Peak & Social - May 8, 5 PM
A sneak-peak at the new KGNU Community Media and Cultural Center, wine and hors d’oeuvres, live music, and a welcome from Kenneth Woods.
Free for donors.
Social Meals - May 13-17
Social meals are scheduled for every day of the festival, May 13-17. They are informal gatherings at which we arrange for space at the restaurants, you show up and pay your own way. No reservations required.

After Play/Rehearsal Reception - May 14, 10 PM
Join the orchestra musicians for a reception with some light snacks and a cash bar.

Guided Hike - Friday, May 15, 10:30 AM
Register for this relaxing 90-minute hike of no more than two miles with Boulder naturalist Suzanne Michot and symposium speaker Thomas Peattie.

The MahlerFest symposium has moved to eTown Hall! We're excited about this new venue.
Lunch is provided and is a great chance to sit and chat with Mahler Scholars and other Mahlerites.
