It takes a village to make MahlerFest happen!

Do you want to contribute to the success of MahlerFest? We need all the help we can get. Volunteers do everything from driving musicians and scholars to and from the airport or around town, hosting our artists in a spare bedroom, usher, setup events or cleanup afterward, data entry, scan printed music, committee and board members, and so much more.

Specific volunteer jobs for MahlerFest 37 begin on Sunday May 5 and go through Monday, May 20. Most volunteer slots are just a few hours and include driving to and from the airport, ushering, selling tickets, and some light stage management tasks.

Committee Member
MahlerFest seeks members from the community to participate on several of our board committees. Do you have an interest and skills in Marketing, Audience Development, Fundraising, or Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion? Joining a committee is a great way to get involved with MahlerFest in an ongoing way.

Social Media Support
Draft posts, develop content calendars, and snap photos and videos to engage with our audience and to raise awareness of the festival throughout the year.

On Call Around Town Transportation
While we know when musicians and other guests are coming and going from the airport, we often do not know when those folks will need a ride from point a to point b wihin Boulder. We’re looking for drivers who could be on call for a half-day or more to help with around town transportation.
