Violinist Zachary DePue

It is an honor to introduce Zachary DePue as the Concertmaster for MahlerFest XXXIII. Boulder audiences are familiar with Zach from his numerous local appearances with, Time for Three. Zach is also the former Concertmaster of the Indianapolis Symphony. Zach offers this masterclass to facilitate opportunities for our audience and orchestra members to learn from our Festival Artists.

What to Expect

The Academy is a senior living community in an old boarding school. The chapel is a really neat space for concerts and events like this masterclass.

Park on the street but please pay attention to the signs and help us be good neighbors. The entrance to the building is accessed through the driveway on 10th Street. Use the main entrance at the end of the driveway and the front desk can direct you upstairs to the chapel.

Zach will work with each violinist for 20-30 minutes depending on how many violinists participate. Each violinist will play a piece they have been working on and then receive feedback and guidance from Zach.
