If you’d like to know more about Mahler’s 3rd Symphony and you’re interested in making some gin-based cocktails, this event is for you!
Board member and Certified Whisky Ambassador Ron Nadel will emcee and teach you how to make a Pimm’s Cup and our bespoke Posthorn.MahlerFest Artistic Director Kenneth Woods will discuss Mahler’s Third Symphony and maybe introduce you to a surprise guest.
You can also expect trivia, a silent auction, and some door prizes!
The event is free but registration is required and donations are encouraged!
Can’t attend live?
Register anyway and we’ll send you the video after the event is over.
Although the event is free, this is our spring fundraiser. In addition to the auction below, our goal is to raise $2,500 in donations. Last year, you stepped up to help make our bandshell concert free for the whole community. With our ticket brochure now at the printer, we’ve already announced that the bandshell concert will be free this year. We are counting on you to help make that possible and assist us toward that $2,500 goal.
ONLINE AUCTION: Open until 5pm MDT on Monday, April 11
Although this event is free, it is also our spring fundraiser! We have some wonderful items in our auction catalog – everything from a set of Mahler motorcycle patches to a night at the Brown Palace, restaurant gift certificates, and tickets to Opera Santa Fe. The best part is, the auction is open to everyone regardless of whether you participate in the event. Simply visit our auction website and get in on the action!

Stanley “Stan” Ruttenberg was President of the Colorado MahlerFest Board of Directions from 1991 to 2006. With a life-long love of the outdoors and penchant for electronics, Stan is remembered for his diplomacy and mentor-ship in all of his spheres of influence, and for his boundless energy in ‘getting things done.’
We have a number of items from Stan’s personal collection available in this year’s auction, collected and donated by his daughter Rebecca Rutternberg with help from Board Member and Violinist Yenlik Weiss.
